Platform Capabilities

LaunchCode platform capabilities and services

The essential foundations for secure cloud delivery. LaunchCode brings the platform structure, connectivity and identity controls required for modern digital delivery into three clearly defined capabilities.

Three connected foundations

The capabilities work together, but each has a defined boundary. This gives delivery teams a joined-up experience while keeping operational accountability clear. Additional workloads, migrations, integrations and new platform features can be delivered separately as engineered work, allowing the platform to grow without changing who operates its day-to-day capabilities.

Workspace management

The environment and delivery foundation that allows teams to establish, use and retire cloud workspaces through secure, repeatable patterns.

Networking

The secure connectivity foundation that governs how services communicate across cloud, organisational and external environments.

Identity and access

The identity foundation that controls who and what can access the platform, with privileges managed throughout their lifecycle.

Workspace management

Workspace Management is the core of the LaunchCode developer and delivery experience. It combines the platform structure with the shared machinery teams need to deliver safely.

This capability covers the lifecycle of cloud workspaces and the reusable components that support them. It can include environment patterns, platform automation, delivery pipelines, service connections, operator identities and the controlled promotion of change. It may be operated by the client or managed by Larrison.

For delivery teams, the result is a consistent place to build and run services without recreating the underlying cloud and delivery foundations for every project.

Networking

Networking provides the secure connectivity that cloud workloads depend on. It covers the shared network foundation and the controls that manage how traffic enters, leaves and moves through the environment.

The agreed network architecture, connectivity patterns, name resolution, traffic controls and monitoring are treated as one connected capability. Keeping ownership whole avoids splitting closely related network functions across multiple service boundaries.

Value to Clients
  • check_circle Reliable connectivity across services and environments.
  • check_circle Consistent traffic controls and security patterns.
  • check_circle Clear ownership when network changes affect workloads.

Identity and access management

Identity and Access Management controls how people, services and automated operators access the platform. LaunchCode treats authentication, authorisation and privileged access as an indivisible lifecycle.

Keeping the capability whole makes it easier to apply Zero Trust principles consistently and reduces the risk created by fragmented permissions and overlapping ownership.

Value to Clients
  • verified_user Stronger control over access to cloud services.
  • verified_user Consistent management of standard and privileged access.
  • verified_user Clearer visibility of identities, roles and permissions.
